Robin
Meet Robin! She was going to be euthanized at another shelter. She was passed over for so long where she was that her self- confidence tanked. Within a short time Robin began loving everyone for she was just seeking praise not scorn. She has begun to open up like a flower blooming. A very loving loyal gal would do extremely well in a home with mature children 12 +. A home that will take her places as she so wants to see the world.
Her DNA is quite unique. 3 generations on 1 side is of an Argentine Mastiff and Irish Setter mix, the other side is mixed breed with Boxer all 3 generations. The mixed breed is several different terriers. Yet she is short compact and stocky with short fur.
Spunk, fun and lots of return affection is all packed into Robin! What she now needs to become the best of an American Mixed Bred is a home that will focus on her confidence, a home to help her feel she is worthy of living….where she has come from did not think so however, we know she with worth millions and millions of smooches.
House trained, leash trained and knows her basic commands. She is not a wanderer as she just want to explore the world with her leader! Oh did I forget to mention, she loves snow!
Moe
Moe, what a stunning lover boy he is! Came to us July 2012 as a court case cruelty case. Just now released for adoption we are so excited to help him find the home he so longs for. He is very eager to please, loves people of all ages. Will do best in a home with a nice mello female dog that will play but, be respectful. He is wonderfully leash trained, house trained. Needs lots of outdoor play time and enjoys swimming!
With all he came from one would expect him to not trust humans, not be such a smart sweet boy….just goes to show what an animal can overcome with proper structure and guidance. He is a wonderful family pet just waiting for the family to find him. He comes with little to no issues, a great dog that has been waiting for the court approval for adoption. Please consider Moe as your next rescued family pet to share a spot on the couch with!
Sigfrid
Sigfrid is a Pure Bred American Staffordshire Terrier! He came from a cruelty case in Glouster on September 24th. Weighing on 46.8 lbs with all his ribs showing. A very nervous, anxiety filled boy. He would destroy trees and anything wood for he just couldn’t focus on humans and toys… Now at a healthy weight, totally leash trained and able to play! He is looking for a home to give him the security he longs for. He will need a home where he is the only pet, no cats please. Sigfrid has been able to hang out with other dogs and we feel once settled into a home life perhaps another dog could join him. Small children confuse him, for his ability to continue growing in a sense of security it is best to be in a home without children. A Mature person or persons that can give him plenty of play time, hiking and further his training is what we hope to match Sigfrid with.

Loving and goof of a dog was confiscated for animal cruelty with severe burns on his head, back and neck. His super affectionate and SO sweet and has shown no sign of agression. Braveheart has an amazing spirit and deserves to be given a chance. He has been staying in a kennel with 20 plus other dogs and gets along great with all of them, he loves kids and babies but some times loses track of his size. He has been at the kennel for six months learning basic obedience and is highly responsive to training (probably one of the smartest male dogs I have been around), absolute couch potato but likes a good jog, no known food aggression, and best described as a huge teddy bear.

Tank was surrendered by his family under special circumstances where they honestly were not given a choice. Tank is and was always well taken care of, a great boy and genuinely loved by his prior family. He is a wonderful 2 year old boy, with lots of playful personality and love to offer. Tank is your typical rambunctious teenager that needs the time and patience of a forever family that will keep up with his manners and training. Tank will integrate nicely into a home with older / bigger children and without any cats.

Sassy is a beautiful brindle girl that is about 1 ½ years old. She has so many great qualities to offer just the right family. Sassy is on the smaller side at approx. 40 lbs, still looks and acts very much like a puppy, but also is housebroken and has had some training. Sassy has a lot of playful energy so when she first meets people she tends to be jumpy, but once she settles down, Sassy shows her true, adorable personality. She is a bundle of fun, very smart, enjoys playing in the water and genuinely loves people. Sassy is also compatible with most other dogs. Sassy needs a family that is willing to take the time to build a good stable relationship, which we don’t think she’s ever had other than with us at the rescue. She could also benefit from some professional training, but make no mistake, Sassy is a loving girl that learns quickly and will want to please you.

Maddy simply loves to be with her foster family. She loves being the center of attention, goes jogging, on outings and spending quiet time watching TV. Maddy is a larger build, about 70 lbs., is a 3 year old female and can be strong on the leash. She has had some informal training, but could use the help of some professional training. Maddy can be adopted by a family with bigger children. She tends to get excited and at times forgets her size. Maddy likes playing in the back yard and at times has a puppy like personality but for the most part she wants to be with people. To describe Maddy in one word would be “Princess.”

Just look at that sweet face! Mabel is an adorable girl with such a funny personality. Typical to the Pit Bull characteristics, she is a bundle of love and affection with everyone she meets!
Although this gorgeous girl was surrendered to the shelter when her owners could not care for her anymore, it has not dampened her spirits whatsoever! Mabel still acts like a big goofy puppy. She does love her toys and a little play time outside, but equally enjoys and stresses the importance of a good nap.
She knows some commands like sit, paw, and down, but she seems to know them a lot better if you have a toy or treat in your hand:). She takes treats nicely and really enjoys meal time. She is one of those “chatty” dogs who likes to talk to you and tell you how her day is going.
Mabel is just a great all-around dog who will make a wonderful family member. She is 100% house trained and crate trained. She will whine or paw at the door when she needs to go out. Now all she needs is a forever home with a loving family and she will have it all!

braveheart is awesome. I hope he finds his forever home soon since whom ever gets him will be sooooooo lucky!
I love that you are helping out local pit bulls, thanks Lilly and pit crew

They are all amazing dogs and I hope they all find their people soon! Love Tank <3
